We don't have much information, but we ran across some sources that have let us in on some special Microsoft happenings in the near future, specifically with the Xbox 360 Dashboard. We remember last year when the New Xbox Experience, or NXE, changed the way users interacted with their console and with Xbox Live. It seems like Microsoft has chosen to take it one step further in this possible refresh.
From what we've seen, the new Xbox 360 Dashboard has a cleaner, sleeker look to it. We've also seen images of a "Natal Tuner" application and a "Natal" setup process, which we, of course, now know the project to be called Kinect. We can guess that because of this, these images we saw were from an older build of this likely beta dashboard.
It only makes sense for Microsoft to come out with a slightly newer feel to the user interface, especially with the release of the new Xbox 360 S and the upcoming holiday release of Kinect. This seems like the last step for their rebranding process on the product.
