Scott is a developer who has worked on projects of varying sizes, including all of the PLUGHITZ Corporation properties. He is also known in the gaming world for his time supporting the rhythm game community, through DDRLover and hosting tournaments throughout the Tampa Bay Area. As we reported last month, media group NPD has changed the way they report on gaming hardware and software sales but that didn't stop Microsoft from boasting how awesome they did. On December 9th a man broke into Carolinas Medical Center located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He preceded to make his way through the building up to a sixth floor office, stopping to glare at a security camera along the way. He then broke into the office, taking 5 video game systems with him, most of which were Xbox 360s. Of course many people are upset about this heinous crime. The local police force released a statement saying,

Okay, enough, T-Mobile. Just because Sprint is announcing a 4G tablet in 2011 doesn't mean you have to do the same, especially since you don't even have a 4G network. We haven't heard anything of the platform or even the brand that the tablet will be on, only the fact that T-Mobile is still trying to fit in with the cool kids by using all these fancy buzzwords. I think it's because everybody except pre-teens and grannies have moved on to better carriers with more reliable and faster networks.

Not much time has passed since Google announced the Chrome Store and unveiled Chrome OS, but on December 10th Google CEO Eric Schmidt announced several updates about Chrome and Chrome OS. He also went on to say that these announcements were some of the most important in his work life. CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2011 is coming up quickly, January 5, and we are starting to see a lot of cool new devices that we may or may not see on the show floor. This week's exploration into the new is called OneMoreFace. It is an adapter you add to the top of your smartphone to add a forward-facing camera.

It may seem impossible to steal Blizzard's title as Titan of the MMO world. It is however easy to steal their confidential documents revealing a new game titled Titan. Blizzard's plans for the next 5 years were leaked onto the Internet this week revealing lots of expansions, a movie and a new game.

Naughty Dog Software recently announced a November 1st, 2011 release date for the much anticipated third installment of the series. It is going to be a PS3 exclusive title so I retract my previous "much anticipated" statement and replace it with just "anticipated".

In an effort to combine two seemingly noteworthy bullet points into one small anecdote of news on your RSS feed, YouTube is in the news this week. Did you know that in Turkey you couldn't get on YouTube since 2008? That is until this week, when a Turkish court removed the two-year block on the site. However, shortly after the ruling and lifting of the ban, YouTube was blocked yet again in Turkey and users were seeing a blank screen along with some text informing them of the block that was part of the original May 2008 court ruling.

While the Apache Foundation may be taking over responsibility of Google Wave, they will be resigning their responsibilities on the Java SE/EE Executive Committee. They do so after 10 years on the board responsible for maintaining standards for Java across the software industry.

Netflix is always looking for new ways to do what their users want - add more content. Their newest way of doing this is to strike a deal with Disney-ABC to allow for streaming of their content through their various streaming partners and website.
