Transformers Not so Confusing This Time Around

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen may have been an OK movie but it certainly wasn't up to Michael Bay's standards. He says that the writing was most of the problem, which is pretty obvious. He attributes this to the Writers Guild strike that affected film and TV, saying,
I'll take some of the criticism. It was very hard to put (the sequel) together that quickly after the writers' strike (of 2007-08).
He promises that the next film will not succumb to the same problem.
This one really builds to a final crescendo. It's not three multiple endings.
Lots of little stories ending all at the same time is usually a great way to kill a movie, example Spiderman 3. And, wait, did he just suggest this is the end of the franchise? Not that this would be a bad idea necessarily, but it isn't definitely a good thing, either. Especially with the change of main female lead. When asked about the change from Megan Fox (reportedly over a falling out with Bay), LaBeouf said,
I love Megan and I miss the girl. But Sam and Mikaela became one character, and here ... you have discovery again from a new perspective.
While plot details for the film are tightly under wraps, we do know that the villain will be classic second in command Shockwave. Always a fun character and always inclined towards evil, this film should be a lot of fun!
