Samsung Galaxy Tab Gets an N for New, Germans Celebrate
posted Sunday Nov 20, 2011 by Nicholas DiMeo

Back in August, Apple and Samsung got into a heated debate about the originality of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The injunction Apple asked for was upheld in September during the patent litigation hearings in Germany. So, in Germany, you were unable to purchase a Galaxy Tab. That is, until this week.
Samsung has slightly altered the Galaxy Tab to make it just different enough to allow it to be sold in Germany.
The new Galaxy Tab 10.1N features a black bezel that reaches out to the metal rim just a bit further. The updated Tab has been listed on a German Internet retailer site with the text of "Galaxy Tab is back!" at the bottom, along with a two to four day ship time. As long as this "N" Tab isn't infringing on anything else that Apple could make up, they should be good to go.
Samsung has released a statement about this updated tablet.
Our good friends at NewGadgetsDE have released a hands-on video about the tablet, so check it out. You can also have a glance at the German retailer, Cyberport's website as they have all the specs (source link below). Good luck to my German friends and I hope that this holds up against Apple's craziness!
