Kfir Godrich is Vice President and Managing Partner heading the Global Innovation Office for HP Technology Services (TS). In this role, he drives innovation for TS while serving as a "consulting ambassador" for HP TS Consulting around the world and providing thought leadership. Godrich also focuses on green initiatives including creating high efficiency data center topologies supporting "green IT" and is a messenger of the sustainability concept worldwide.
The optimization of CAPEX and OPEX in the data center was the focus of IT Management for the past several years. This led to the POD, containerization of Data Center hardware and the idea of a Flexible Data Center that can be hooked together in an independent form.
DC 2.0 is the combination of these techniques and Cloud Computing - allowing a better alignment between business and IT.
