Morphée: a brand that designed a better night's sleep @ CES 2022

Description

Many people struggle with getting good sleep. Whether it's stress or noise, guests or lights, lots of things can affect your patterns. A lot of research has been done on how to improve sleep, but it is usually confined to sleep clinics. The problem is that you don't live at a sleep clinic - you live at home. Morphée brings the results of sleep research into your home to improve your sleep quality.

History

Morphée is a brand that was created with the intention of designing better nights. The company's story started in 2016 when flatmates Charlie and Guillaume decided to combine their talents. Charlie is a born entrepreneur and Guillaume is a marketer with a creative spirit. They set about to help improve the quality of sleep for people around the world.

The parent company, Audiozen, has done extensive research into sleep and design to create products that promote sleep and relaxation. They have partnered with designers, doctors, sophrologists (sophrology), and sleep centers to develop their nighttime lineup for adults as well as children.

In 2020, Morphée welcomed My Little Morphée which introduces meditation to children. They also partnered with new collaborators and expanded abroad in 2020. Foreign distributors have joined the team, and the brand is continuing to grow. They offer their products in new countries through partners and dedicated online shops.

The solutions

The company offers a couple of different Zen products. The original Morphée device is designed for adults and brings a sense of elegance to its design. The new My Little Morphée is designed for children and has a fun and whimsical design instead.

One of the common traits between the products is the lack of a screen. Everything is controlled mechanically so that there is nothing obvious and visual to distract your attention. It also means that, without digital components, there are no additional electromagnetic waves in the room and near your head. Everything is controlled by keys on the surface of the device.

Both products also focus on personal meditation. The goal is for the user to be able to enjoy "quiet breaks" away from external stimuli. This quiet time helps put the user into a state of calm, allowing for easier and more restful sleep. It also sets the user's emotional state into a place of personal confidence and encourages emotional versatility.

The products

The prime device, the Morphée, is a puck with three key-like dials. The first key chooses a theme between 8 choices. The second key chooses your session, with each theme having 8 unique sessions. The third key allows you to determine the length of your session, either 8 or 20 minutes. Altogether there are 210 possibilities.

The kids' device, My Little Morphée, works similar to its more advanced sibling. There are 2 keys and an hourglass in this case, however. The first key once again sets the theme, while the second key sets the universe in which they want to travel. They can choose desert, forest, island, and more. The hourglass on the side is used to determine the length of the session. Altogether there are 192 possibilities on this device.

Summary

Everyone can do with a better night's sleep, and Morphée is here to help. Both products are available now for $99.99. To learn more about the product or to purchase one for yourself, you can head to the company's website or Amazon.

Todd Cochrane (00:21)

All right. Outstanding,

Christopher Jordan (00:23)

We have Charlie Rousset here. Is that correct?

Charlie Rousset (00:27)

Yeah.

Christopher Jordan (00:27)

Oh, fantastic from Morphee. Tell us a little bit about your product and what you have here.

Charlie Rousset (00:32)

Actually, we have 3 products. The first one is Morphee that we launched 3 years ago and help adult fall asleep with mindfulness meditation. So inside you'll have 210 sessiongof Django, when. Then you come for a sleepy state, it's mainly because we have a highly developed multiple-. My advice is to use these products and listen to the meditation, it's eight or 20 minutes- away from how you can reach them. Seven is the same spread for kids that have bitten three to eight years old, and kept down during the day, and prefer to sleep at night. With these two products that we launched two years ago, we have more than 300,000 users. Amazingly thanks

Christopher Jordan (01:38)

And now I do a lot of binaural beat meditation, things like that. Your typical sessions of eight minutes how- what is the typical change in like alpha waves, things like that, as far as making the restless mind calm down?

Charlie Rousset (02:13)

Nowadays we use most of today, well, friends and everything. So why using the phone when you're down in the middle? Is when you're sleeping disorders are. On the way or-

Todd Cochrane (02:53)

So what is the I'm getting a bunch of noise feedback? So what is the device that you guys introduced? First? What are the gold tabs on top? Is that the settings or?

Charlie Rousset (03:08)

One? Yeah, yeah. This one? The settings?

Todd Cochrane (03:11)

Actually were- Yeah. Can't hear him? I'll go ahead.

Charlie Rousset (03:17)

So actual session will have different sections and BookScan.

Todd Cochrane (03:26)

Okay.

Charlie Rousset (03:28)

Once the decision is can you have a visualization? Directions are 20 minutes, and two vices.

Todd Cochrane (03:43)

You guys are turning us down? Yeah. Whatever you guys are doing. You have to stop. Yeah, we can't hear him now. Yeah, go ahead.

Charlie Rousset (03:53)

You can choose the position for eight or 20 minutes.

Christopher Jordan (03:57)

Mm-hmm.

Todd Cochrane (03:59)

Go ahead, okay.

Charlie Rousset (04:00)

Then you have the voice. You can choose the female.

Todd Cochrane (04:04)

Go ahead.

Charlie Rousset (04:05)

You can choose the female voice or you can choose the male voice. And then you just have to, you can press play, and the session starts and you just listen to the voice. And it helps you to decrease and to go from a high level of stress to a good level. Where we have to be, I mean.

Todd Cochrane (04:25)

Right?

Charlie Rousset (04:25)

We can't stay at a high level of stress like this.

Todd Cochrane (04:28)

So what is your third device then? What is that?

Charlie Rousset (04:30)

Yeah, the third device. This is completely new. We just launched six weeks ago. And it's the first time that we developed a device for the daytime. So this device, you can take it in the pocket. It's very easy. It fits perfectly in the hand and as soon as you have it in the hand you start to fill the thing and it helps people to decrease the stress at day time when they have, for example, a conflict or something that make them feel bad. And with this Morphee Zen, you just plug your headphones. You have to plug in your headphones. And we wanted that because plugging the headphones gets you from the outside world. And once your headphones are plugged in, you have the product in hand, you can listen to the content, which is completely different from this one because this one is too steep. So it's slow. This one is to decrease in a fast way, the stress that you just got. So we have strong sessions. I mean, when I say strong, it's like every sentence is followed by one other sentence. And it keeps you in the thing. And as you have the voice coming, you can't think about what your boss just said, or what the driver at your right just said. And then you just forget all the things and you go. You going.

Todd Cochrane (05:59)

So, give me the price points. And where can people find the product at?

Charlie Rousset (06:03)

This is $100 for both of them. And you can find them on our website morphee.co and on amazon.com. We have amazing reviews. You can see. And this one is completely new. This is only in France right now. And we plan to launch it in the US in September, as we just launched it two months ago in France. And we have already 30,000 users as well. Very, very good feedbacks. So we are making all these oscillations. And it's going to be $80 on Amazon as well. In the US. I'll say this summer between the summer and September.

Todd Cochrane (06:35)

So, folks, you can check them out at Morphee, MORPHEE.CO

Charlie Rousset (06:41)

Yeah, dot co.

Todd Cochrane (06:42)

.CO or on Amazon as well.

Charlie Rousset (06:44)

Amazon, you can check Morphee or my little Morphee and you can't miss the products.

Todd Cochrane (06:50)

Charlie, thanks for coming. We appreciate you showing off the product. For those looking for some relaxation. Get down to the stress of the day, fall asleep easier. Check out again, morphee.co.

Charlie Rousset (07:01)

Thank you. It's a pleasure. Yeah.

Todd Cochrane (07:03)

Thank you so much. All right.
