A Tiny Wearable Body Monitor [Live]

The live team talks with Body Media, a lifestyle management company that has been tracking activity and caloric intake and burn rate since 1999. Their new sensor, which has the ability to store up to 10 days worth of data, can track data via accelerometer, galvanic response skin conductivity monitor, heat flow and skin temperature.

The data downloads via Bluetooth to a smartphone and logs activity online, presenting reports on progress against goals for activity, health and weight loss. In conjunction with IBM, Body Media has the ability to recommend activities based on goals and past activities.
