United Healthcare has teamed up with Konami, makers of Dance Dance Revolution, to bring an education version of the game to classrooms. We have talked many times before on the show about the health benefits of DDR, and it turns out people have been listening.
United will be running their multiplayer, school-based pilot program to schools that already have an established United Healthcare curriculum partnership. Of course, this program might have been better received 10 years ago when DDR was at the height of its popularity here in the States, but it is possible that a program like this could revitalize the falling DDR sales.
