Over the years, TPN has used time lapse cameras in the studio to give viewers a different vantage point on the show. No single person could sit and watch a normal speed camera for the 6 days that the studio is setup, but you can watch the insanity unfold in a 15 minute super speed.
One of the best cameras on the market for time lapse videography is Brinno, a company who specializes in this type of camera. This year they debuted a brand new product on the show, the TLC120, and updated and smaller version of their TLC200 Pro model, which is available now. Adding Wi-Fi to the camera allows you to live stream the video directly onto a smartphone, making setup and angling easy. You can even turn the camera directly from the app, so if the angle isn't what you want, it is easy to fix.
