Driving drunk is never a good idea, as alcohol significantly slows down your reaction times. If you do need to drive after drinking a small amount, it is best to know exactly how affected you are. That is where the Floome breathalyzer comes in.
Floome is a small device, capable of fitting in the palm of your hand. As you breathe into the device, it transfers analysis date to a smartphone to display blood alcohol concentration information. Rather than using Bluetooth to connect to a smartphone, it connects through the headphone jack, giving it the capability to transmit data at a significantly faster rate.
If you are above the legal limit, the app can help you deal with your impairment, including giving information about local taxi services, or it can even create custom "come get me" messages over top of photos.
