The Girls Scouts are probably best known for their cookies, sold either door-to-door or in front of local stores. Of course, while this does help promote the organization, it is not necessarily the best way to sell your product and raise funds. In a day where more and more shopping is done online rather than in person, a lack of online sales could certainly be limiting availability.
I, for one, have never had a Girl Scout come by to sell cookies, nor would it be likely to encounter them selling at 9PM on Tuesday at the local grocery store. Therefore, having access to the cookies online would make it far more likely for me to purchase. The good news is that now you can purchase Girl Scout cookies online, and your local troupe will still get the proceeds.
