At one time, the action camera market had only a single player: GoPro. When that happens, innovation stagnates, and products get boring and predictable. Luckily, the market has new players almost every day, and those companies bring new ideas.
Todd talked to Liquid Image, a company well-known for their line of cameras. Last year, they added Verizon LTE to their products. This year, enhancing the Ego series, the company has announced the Ego LS, which improves the LTE to XLTE. The body has been reconsidered - now shaped more like a traditional camera in a significantly smaller form factor. This change will make mounting the camera more convenient. The good news is, everything we already love about the Ego series is still there: LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Low Frequency RF. The camera will be available in quarter 1 for $399.
