A Portable Way to Treat Seasonal Affective Disorder Effects

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), frequent traveling and depression have a common thread: a lack of natural sunlight. This lack of light produces melatonin in the brain, which is the hormone that makes people tired. Luckily there is a treatment known as photo-therapy.

This treatment can now be tried at your convenience with a product called Luminette. Already widely used in Europe, this device is headed to the US soon, and can help reset your day cycle and reduce melatonin production. Worn like sunglasses, this device allows you to keep working, unlike many other devices in the product category.
