The PLUGHITZ Live team gets asked often about what it takes to build a studio. Depending on your purposes can obviously change what it is that you need to make a studio work. We have built this guide to show some of the setups we have used or currently use to produce our various shows.
While we do not produce any audio-only series, there are a lot of them out there. This equipment list is what we would use if we were doing a single host audio-only series.
This hardware list is based on our permanent studio, which we use for F5 Live: Refreshing Technology, Piltch Point and New Product Launchpad. We use this equipment to record audio and video, as well as broadcast the show to YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Mixer, Twitch, Periscope, and Livestream.
