The Monbaby infant monitoring device takes an interesting approach to the idea of a wearable: infants. This device is designed to ensure an infant's safety during sleep by tracking their position relative to the crib.
Connected to a smartphone or tablet, the device can alert parents and guardians if the baby rolls on its stomach, allowing you to go in and roll them onto their back. This is a great way to prevent Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), which is often associated with sleeping on the stomach. It will also alert you if the baby becomes restless, indicating that they have woken up.
The device is available for pre-order on the company's website, and will retail for $169 when it launches.
